The team of MicroSea System Solutions GmbH has been developing the revolutionary Met-IQ software system since 2006.
The original idea behind Met-IQ was to give end-users a high-octane yet user-friendly tool to speed up the input of formed part data, exclude input errors, calculate prices instantly and help customers and producers save time and money. For the producer, internal processing efforts are reduced to a minimum, unnecessary queries with the customer are a thing of the past, manufacturing documents are prepared in a standardized format, which also saves valuable time: this proposal to “you deliver while your competitors are still calculating the offer“ was to be turned into reality.
In 2007/2008 this was precisely the case when the first Met-IQ version was released: It only took a few mouse clicks to draw edgings and visualize them in 3D. The system checked the manufacturing feasibility of the design, calculated the profile and automatically generated an offer. Subsequently, the software automatically prepared the manufacturing documentation for production, and as an option, it also wrote the machine program.
At present, the seventh generation of Met-IQ Enterprise Suite is available. Met-IQ is developed further on an ongoing basis in close cooperation with customers, trade associations and manufacturers and constantly adjusted to market needs. This is why Met-IQ is the most high-performing software solution and the market leader in its field. What started as a pure e-commerce and web shop system for major toll manufacturers has developed into an integrated system for producers, distributors, dealers and erection companies working with edgings, bending parts and roll formed parts.
